AI based Short-term Load Forecasting System

The FarmWeb enables farmers to sell their products online. We provide technology and services to the farmers, merchants, and farm laborers, thus providing them with a wider great experience with an easy-to-use application. Farmers can sell their produce online which can be purchased by wholesalers and retailers and can also purchase farming products.

Blood Care - To design an efficient way to connect Donors and Recipients. 

An android based application to provide fast, easily accessible, safest, most reliable and most cost-effective system for patients and donors. The main aim of developing this application is to reduce the time to a great extent that is spent in searching for the right donor and the availability of blood required. The users will also be able to check for the compatible blood types with their blood group and the required donors or seekers nearby them.

Blood Care

● Heatwave Watch System, a collaborative R&D product with India Meteorological Department, Pune to watch heat and predict probable heatwaves to issue early warnings for the public to take precautionary measures.
● It is an outcome of extensive research, data engineering, models' training, and exhaustive performance evaluation.

● Data Source:
The data for this research is provided by IMD, Pune. The system is developed using historical data of past 71 yrs – from 1951 to 2021. As the data has a temporal component, 80% data (of yrs 1951 to 2010) used for training and the recent 20% data (of yrs 2011 to 2021) used for validation. The dataset dimensions are 31×31, and consists of attributes Timestamp, Latitude, Longitude, and Max Temperature, which allows learning temperature trends over different seasons, regions, and time.

● Data Pre-processing:
The data is extracted from the web-based repository with GRD files of maximum observed temperature for spatio-temporal analysis. Further, the data is fragmented into the 07 IMD-defined climatic regions of India & 04 climatic seasons. The data is further pre-processed to handle noisy/missing values and normalization, thus assuring stable input to the AI/ML models.

● Machine Learning:
For learning spatio-temporal patterns of temperature, the work uses Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, which are considered to be the most effective, especially for weather prediction.  From the regional segments of data, 28 lightweight data-driven LSTM models are trained. The results from these models are further recombined and rescaled to produce the 31 × 31 dimensional spatio-temporal predictions. The models are capable to predict maximum temperature values, and assist heat watch.

● Prediction:
The work uses maximum daily temperature readings of past 14 days to produce maximum temperature predictions for leads of next 7 days.

● Validation:
The current accuracy of predictions is 92.10%. Further validation of this research is in-process.

Heatwave Watch System

Electron consists of two parts. One part is Battery Monitoring System and another one is Solar powered charging by Battery Swapping Technique.

Battery is the most essential component of any vehicle. So perfect maintenance of any battery is very much essential for it to function properly. Our Battery Monitoring System consists of ESP8266 Wifi Module, Rechargeable battery, DHT11, Voltage Sensor and OLED display. The temperature of the battery is a very important parameter, as it decides the current state of the battery. In order to measure the temperature, we go for a certain DHT11 sensor which will help in monitoring the temperature and humidity protocol. This DHT11 sensor will monitor and keep an eye on this parameter and will give an alert when it crosses a certain limit. The developed battery monitoring system is also consists of a web-based user interface. The user interface is capable to monitor multiple battery monitoring devices and the conditions of batteries. The main page for the web-based user interface shows the details about the battery monitoring according to battery health, measure the Temperature, voltage and humidity and will give an alert when a certain limit is crossed.

In the Electron, we charged the discharged battery with the help of Solar panel and Battery Swapping Technique which is an alternative that involves exchanging discharged batteries with the charged ones. Battery swapping is popularly used for smaller vehicles, such as two and three-wheelers, which have smaller batteries that are easier to swap. For this charging system we are using solar panel, DC-DC converter / Buck boost converter, charge controller and EV batteries.
