Benja was among the first movers in shoppable media. We built a proprietary ad format, several direct-to-consumer e-commerce stores, and a personalized shopping mobile app. I was responsible for all business operations. Benja ultimately failed, filing for bankruptcy in 2020. I regularly write and speak about my failures and the dangers of "fake it 'til you make it" in startup culture.

I served as the founding business director at what has become the #1 independent sports media brand. I lead on all business matters from the time when "the company" was a single Twitter account, including the development of revenue models, the construction of the e-commerce shop, and digital discovery.

Lead marketing and on-premise sales for this award-winning craft distillery. Responsibilities included event marketing, social media management, and serving as a marketing voice during new product development. During my time, the company became the official spirit of the Vermont Ski Association.

Marketing Director

Coordinated, managed, and executed a marketing campaign on college campuses and tourism locations in New England around the launch of Color's live-stream video service in 2012. Color was acquired by Apple.

Marketing Specialist

Rotational business development program, served as a liaison between educational institutions, SMBs, and Microsoft around the launch of Windows 7 and Office 2010. Involved the coordination and execution of marketing events on college campuses.
