Our project presents an Obstacle Detection Robot. It is a vision-based surveillance robot that can be run autonomously and be able to acquire images from its dynamic environment is very important. The project aims at providing capabilities of monitoring its surroundings and avoiding obstacles in its way and remaining in its original path. It uses LSM9DS0 Inertial Measurement unit, which provides with accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer to calculate 90 degree turns. This robot works differently in the way that it avoids obstacle and returns to its original path. This system can be used for entertainment, military, and surveillance purposes.
